Veer challenges Dharam to a duel and Dharam accepts. For this act, Veer begins to bitterly hateDharam. Theyalso meet Jwala Singh who trains them in the martial arts. Veer wins the heart of a gypsy girl, Rupa(NeetuSingh)and Dharam falls in love with a princess (Zeenat Aman). The story follows some of their adventures and their attempts tofind love. The boys become best friends anddo not realise that this is because they are actually twinbrothers. The younger, Veer(Jitendera) is the crown prince. The elder is called Dharam (Dharmendra) andgrows up to be a blacksmith like his father. Whilst he is asleep though,his wife swaps the children back.Īs the children grow up, Satpal mistreats his own child, who hebelieves to be the prince, and dotes on the prince whom he thinksis his own son. They explain what happened to Jwala whenhe awakes and he assents to them keeping the child and raising itas their own. Theyare childless and are pleased when the bird brings the baby,believing it to be a gift. Jwala has been injured by atiger and is being healed by a poor blacksmith and his wife. Satpal takes thebaby, minutes after it is born and tosses it out of a window.Instead of falling to its death though, the baby is caught bySheroo who flies him to his master. The Queen gives birth to a healthy baby boy. In order to preventthis, he pleads poverty and moves in with his sister. King Satpal Singh, Meenakshi's brother is told in a prophecythat he will be killed by his eldest nephew. Unbeknownst toJwala, Meenakshi is pregnant by him. Her fathereventually marrys her off into another royal family. Tne Princess sees the body of the dead villager andshe thinks it is that of Jwala and goes into shock. He wrestles the tiger and they both fallover a cliff. The tiger kills a villager and Jwala puts his poncho over himto cover his dead body. Duringthe night they are awoken by another tiger and Jwala goes to slayit.
